I'm really proud of this project so far. I had a lot of fun doing it. I don't think u can tell from this image, but I spent several hours working on it.

Self Portrait

This is my self portrait created using illustrator. I tried to model the style after Van Gogh. I really put a lot of time into it, especially the hair and background.

Van Gogh was an impressionist Dutch painter who used color and line to emphasize his form. His style is characterized by his unique short, expressive brush strokes of color layered on top of one another. Van Gogh suffered mental illness and spent a portion of his life in an asylum and ultimately comitted suicide.
